Qualified public purchase bids are solicited from qualified contractors registered in the Trade and Companies Register for the PURCHASE OF IT AND MOBILE EQUIPMENT in North East Syria and Iraq
The IT equipment will include: computers, tablets, printers, copy machines, scanners, power banks, external hard discs, external screens for computers. All required IT equipment is listed in Annex I. The list of items is not definitive, it may be extended by the supplier to include items which it normally sells.
The contract awarded from this tender to successful suppliers is a Framework agreement (FWA) contract of flexible price. A framework agreement is a non-exclusive agreement with group of suppliers to establish terms governing contracts that may be awarded during the period of the Framework agreement. In other words, it sets out terms and conditions for making specific purchase at a process known as Call for bids (CFB).
A CFB is a process through which the bidder shall be awarded an individual purchase orders on the basis of framework agreement. For any CFB, CVT will send out to preselected suppliers: 1) Cover letter and 2) Quotation form, unless the quotation form from initial framework tender is valid.
