Iraq, Iran and Syria Transnational Railway Project

Iraq has begun discussions with Iran and Syria over the construction of a transnational railway project to provide transport links between the three countries. Salib al-Hussaini, head of the Iraqi Republic Railways Company revealed that the three countries will soon hold a summit for further discussions on the project.
