According to a statement from the Oil Ministry of Iraq, the country's oil exports have risen to 3.466 million barrels per day (bpd), up from 3.377 million bpd exported in March.
Exports from Iraq's Southern oilfields through the port of Basra make up 3.354 million bpd (100,635,009 barrels), a rise from 3.254 million bpd in March. The month did however see a drop in oil exports from Iraq's northern fields, with only 86,000 bpd exported from Kirkuk (2,570,000 barrels), down from 99,000 bpd in March.
April's average sale price was $67.419 per barrel, with total revenue generated for April at in excess of $7 billion, he country's highest monthly revenue so far for 2019.
