Iraq has appealed to contractors from Jordan by launching a number of reconstruction projects for their consideration.
Ali Sanafi, President of the Iraqi Contractors Federation (ICF) presented the project opportunities at a meeting with Ahmad Yacoub, President of the Jordanian Construction Contractors Association (JCCA).
With the two countries seeking closer ties and joint cooperation in construction and other sectors, Yacoub revealed that the highlighted projects will be offered to Jordanian contractors on preferential terms.
The ICF intends to release a number of tender opportunities for both small and large scale projects later this year, with the organisation receiving approval on its budget of $19 billion.
