Iraq's KRG Resumes Oil Exports to Iran

Oil exports have resumed following an initial suspension of exports across the Iranian border two weeks ago

Following a postponement of oil exports from the Kurdistan Regional Government to Iran two weeks ago, the semi autonomous region of Iraq has now resumed oil exports across the border.

Exports were initially put on hold in the face of U.S. sanctions against Iran, however a KRG spokesperson Safin Dizayee has announced that exports are back underway with the region honoring its existing contracts with neighboring Iran.
