Al-Ghadhban said that the oil sector will be a key player in the development of the economy of the country to alleviate the suffering of the Iraqi people and will work with other sectors to achieve prosperity for all Iraqis. He pointed out that the ministry will be proactive and open to all and will hold science and technology to develop the oil and gas industry and provide the best services to citizens. The minister pointed out that the new government and Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi's approach is to complement the work of all sectors and lift barriers between them to achieve industrial, economic and service development in the country, stressing that the Ministry of Oil will work with sectors such as electricity and water resources to move forward in integrating the work of the Iraqi energy sector.

On his vision for the future of the work in the Ministry of Oil, Ghadhban pointed out that the ministry faces great challenges, especially in the extraction sector, we will work to overcome them and we will work at an accelerated pace in order to reduce the waste of gas associated with production processes and optimal investment of gas and development of the gas industry to benefit from the uses of power generation and other industries, To increase the rates of production of oil derivatives to reduce the import rates that we do to provide fuel for the electricity sector, adding that our vision will be sponsor of the provinces, which have structures and exploratory explorations and a little developed or production, and we will take care of They in Basra province because the province has a major role in the oil industry will have special care, in addition to that we will work to reduce environmental pollution through the application of the foundations of modern technologies in the oil and gas industry sectors.

Al-Ghadhban added that we will take care of our international relations because Iraq is a founding country of OPEC and has an active, positive and growing role over time to stabilize the world oil market.

The minister pointed out that the ministry will contribute to support the Iraqi private sector through the launch of its capabilities and involvement in the development of the oil sector.

Mr. Al-Ghadhban appreciated the role played by Mr. Jabbar Ali Al-Luaibi, the former oil minister, for his outstanding achievements in the ministry, praising the role of the ministry's employees, including agents, consultants, general managers and all those working in the development of the oil and gas industry in the country, pledging support and care to achieve greater achievements.

In turn, former oil minister Jabbar Ali al-Luaibi, Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Minister of Oil Thamir al-Ghadhban congratulated on the assumption of the post, and said that we have worked in this important sector under abnormal conditions where there were oil sites under the influence of terrorism, as well as low prices in The global market, but we were able, in cooperation with the ministry's staff and at all levels, to achieve great achievements in this vital sector.

He added that over the past two years, many achievements have been achieved. At the level of production, the rates reached the highest levels through the national effort and the foreign effort represented by international companies in licensing rounds.
