Oil production has surged in both Iraq and the Kurdistan region for August, with total production averaging 4.028 million barrels per day (bpd), which represents a 4% increase from July figures.
The Iraqi Government exported 3.583 million bpd, which is the countries highest monthly average to date. With crude prices at an average of $69.593 per barrel this amounts to $7.729 billion in revenues.
The KRG (Kurdistan Regional Government) has not provided any monthly export or revenue information.
