Iraq Ministry Of Oil Declares Its August Export Statistics

August exports of 95 million barrels generating income of US3.8 billion dollars

The Iraqi ministry of oil announced its oil exports for the previous August 2015 which was (95.447) million barrels and their achieved outcome which is about (3.874) billion dollars according to the statistics of SOMO company.

Mr. Assim Jihad the spokesman of the oil ministry said that the exported oil quantities for the previous August was (93.655) million barrels from the southern ports, and (1.791) million barrels from Ceyhan port, while the oil price was (40.598) dollars for the single barrel. He said also that the exports from the southern ports faced some technical obstacles but they was fixed in a short period, which affected negatively on the exports.

Mr. Jihad said also that the above quantities were shipped by different identities international companies to the ports of Basra and Khor Al-Amia and SPM from the Arab gulf as well as to the Turkish Ceyhan port on the Mediterranean
