The Minister of Oil Discuss with Turkey to Restart the Exportation Through Ceyhan.

The Ministry of Oil will Invite the Specialized Turkish Companies During the Visit to Participate in the Execution of the Investment Projects

   Mr. Assim Jihad the spokesman of the ministry of oil revealed for a near visit by Mr. Jabbar Ali Al-Luiebi the minister of oil to Turkey before the end of this week.

   Mr. Jihad said that Mr. Al-Luiebi will head a high level delegation to respond for the invitation of the Turkish counterpart to discuss with them about the development of the bilateral relations, as well as to expand the size of cooperation in the oil & energy sector. And to discuss about the case of restarting the oil exportation via Ceyhan Turkish port. He said also that Mr. Al-Luiebi is going to meet with the Turkish counterpart and other officials to confirm on the keenness of the ministry of oil to establish a trust and cooperation in order to agree on strengthening the bilateral relations and export the Iraqi oil “by SOMO company exclusively”. He also said that the ministry of oil will invite the specialized Turkish companies during the visit to participate in the execution of the investment projects which was declared by the ministry of oil to develop the oil sector.

   Mr. Jihad said also that this visit is to complete the discussions which was made in Baghdad at the end of the last year 2017.
