Output for Majnoon Oil Field Will Increase fro 240 bpd to 450,000 bpd Within 3 Years

Iraq reportedly plans to increase production at the Majnoon oilfield from 240,000 bpd now to 450,000 barrels within three years.

Committees in charge of developing Majnoon Oil field have announced they plan to increase production from 240,000 to approximately 450,000 barrels per day in the next three years. 

The head of a committee, Ahmed Abdul Razzaq recently told Reuters Basra Oil Company will soon begin the takeover from Shell and is now reviewing bids from local operators in order to implement the plan to increase output in southern Iraq.
