September export numbers announced by the Iraq Ministry of Oil reflect slightly higher exports than August statistics. In September, Iraq produced 3.240 million barrels per day (bpd), whereas in August Iraq exported 3.126 bpd. Revenue for the month totaled US$4.866 billion dollars meaning the average price was approximately US$50.062.
Shipping and transport was carried out by thirty-eight multinational companies operating out of the ports of Basra, Khor Al-Omaia and on the Arab Gulf, by the SPMs. Exports did not go out of Kirkurk.
