Oil Minister Jabbar Ali al-Luaibi, accompanied by Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih and Iraqi Trade Minister Salman Jumaili, inaugurated the Iraqi oil ministry's pavilion at the Baghdad International Fair (44), which started on Saturday 21/10/2017 and lasts for ten days.
The Minister of Oil said that the Ministry's participation in this global promotional edifice comes to present the activities of the ministry after achieving many achievements at the levels of production in the oil and gas sectors and the optimal investment for the gas industry and export, as well as the export sector of crude oil, which has increased in rates that provide the state treasury with financial resources In addition to the ministry's other activities in the fields of liquidation and transportation.
The Minister pointed out that the participation of neighboring Saudi Arabia in more than 60 specialized companies in this exhibition after the absence of 27 years is a major breakthrough in the level of relations between the two brotherly countries.
It is noteworthy that the wing of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil includes national companies from exploration through to companies of extraction and liquidation and the transfer of oil and its derivatives, the gas sector and projects and departments of pure and development.
