Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussein Al-Luiebi the minister of oil said that the vice custodian of the two holy mosques H.H. Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud confirmed on the stand of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia with Iraq.
H.H. Mohammad Bin Salman said that the kingdom will stand with all the sects, nationalities and lands of Iraq without any regard to the sectarian discrimination, and the kingdom is keen to strengthen and activate the bilateral relations in all the fields.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said after his return back to Baghdad that the H.H. “our brother” stressed on the necessity of speeding-up the activation of the Iraqi – Saudi coordination committee to execute a collection of agreements in the sectors of oil, energy, industry, minerals, technology, investment, agriculture, commercial exchange, banks, building associated projects and else.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said also that the kingdom will build many health & humanitarian projects on their own budget, such as building a hospital in Baghdad and Basrah, award scholarships to the Saudi universities, open crossing points on the border and build free zones for the commercial exchange.
Regarding the decision of the Saudi cabinet to form the Iraqi- Saudi coordination committee… Mr. Al-Luiebi said that it is a significant step to enforce and develop the bilateral relations between the two brother countries.
Mr. Al-Luiebi met in Jeddah with Mr. Majid Al-Qasabi the Saudi minister of trade and the head of the Saudi coordination committee. they also agreed on many practical steps which can push forward the bilateral relations such as a soon visit of the Saudi minister of trade to Iraq in order to meet with the Iraqi officials & concerned business men, establish workshops & conferences in Baghdad & Riyadh, the Saudi participation in Baghdad international fair & Basrah energy fair.
Regarding his meeting with Mr. Adil Al-Jubair the Saudi foreign minister… Mr. Al-Luiebi said that Mr. Al-Jubair confirmed on the keenness of the kingdom to develop the relations between the two brother countries and work on to take the practical steps in order to achieve the real integrated association via the agreement on many associated projects in all the fields.
Mr. Al-Luiebi concluded his declaration by saying that he will present a review about the results of his visit to the Kingdom Saudi Arabia during the session of the Cabinet.
