Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussein Al-Luiebi the minister of oil visited the Basrah oil Terminal and inspected the operations of the shipping & exportation of crude oil via the southern ports.
He also seen the rehabilitation operations which are done by the south oil company (SOC) for some important sections in the Iraq crude oil exportation port.
Mr. AL-Luiebi praised the workers in the port for their keenness to implement the shipping plans even in the bad weather. He also confirmed the keenness of the ministry to provide the healthy appropriate environment for the workers in the oil sector to create, invent and raise the production to serve the Iraqi economy, country and people.
He also ordered to build a new residence for the workers in the port. And the residence should have all the appropriate necessary equipment, convenient with the big size of the outcome of these workers.
Mr. Al-Luiebi ordered also to make a total rehabilitation for the port to make it capable for the unprecedented increase of oil production. As well as the preparation of the appropriate climate for the workers in the port whom are working 24 hours/ day to maintain the exportation.
Mr. Al-Luiebi confirmed during his meeting with the workers in the port that the Iraqi oil exportation process depends the accurate international standards, in addition to the internal & external supervising authorities which monitors the exportation process, so that the exportation is done transparently.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said that the ministry has ambitious plans to raise the reserve & exportation capabilities of the southern ports, and the infrastructure of these ports is witnessing a total rehabilitation.
