Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Planning Minister Salman al-Jumaili disclosed that the delay in opening Treibel border outlet with Jordan is the increase in devastated bridges along the international route.
He pointed that there are 36 destroyed bridges along the highway, in addition to the need to liberate more cities , like Rawa, Ana and Qa'im cities, which stand as obstacles along the route.
Many times, Jordan demanded Iraq to rehabilitate the international route, which is estimated to be 500 km that connects Baghdad with the Jordanian and Syrian borders to regain life to international commerce between the neighboring countries.
Before two weeks, Iraqi Premier Haidar al-Ibadi disclosed that the government had an agreement with a security company to rehabilitate the
route, but no details were given on the content of the agreement
