Sulaimaniya/ Iraq TradeLink: Chairman of the Economic Commission at the Kurdish Parliament Izzat Sabir warned against negative appearances in the Kurdish society due to the increase in unemployment.
A report by the Kurdish Planning Ministry disclosed that there are 1.25 million unemployed people in the region.
MP Sabir pointed that all indications proved that the situation in the region is declining due to the stoppage of thousands of services' projects, increase in poverty lines, unemployment, crime and increasing divorce cases.
"More than 600.000 unemployed people are in the Kurdish region", he added.
