The Iraqi ministry of oil declared its oil exports for the previous September 2016 which was lower than August according to the primary statistics of (SOMO) company.
Mr. Assim Jihad the spokesman of the ministry said that the exported oil quantities for the previous September was (98.285.239) million barrels which was lower than August which was (100.1) million barrels while the daily average was (3.276) million barrels/ day which was a little bit higher than August which was (3.230) million barrels/ day, and the outcome was (3.822.286) billion dollars.
He said also that the exported quantities from the southern ports was (97.349.969) million barrels. And the exported quantities from Ceyhan port was (935.270) thousand barrels. He said also that the oil price for September was (38.890) dollars for the single barrel.
Mr. Jihad said that some well-known global media have published false information about the oil exports of September which said that the exports was high, so that they caused some miss understanding " Intentionally or unintentionally". So that he called the media to be more accurate and avoid depending on the irresponsible un-authorized sources which makes them lose their credibility to the public. He also called them to show the sources of information and the ministry does not mind if these sources were credible and responsible for the accurate statistics & information.
It is worthy to mention that the ministry of oil depends on the principle of transparency when it publishes any information about its exports and outcome, and the concerned authorities which are publishing un-accurate information will have to bear the legal consequences for that. It is also worthy to mention that the ministry depends on the international organizations and the related authorities to publish their information.
