Technical Defect in Oil Field Near Kirkurk Disrputs Pipeline to Ceyhan, Turkey

NOC is hoping to re-establish connectivity in 24 hours.

A “technical defect” has reportedly stopped operations for the oil pipeline that operations via the Turkish port of Ceyhan. 

The North Oil Company (NOC) reportedly stated to Reuters that maintenance teams are hoping to re-establish connectivity in the next 24 hours adding that the defect was due to a disruption at the Dibis field, 45 KM northwest of Kirkuk.
