Iraq Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi held a meeting with employees of Germany's top companies Friday in Berlin. Al-Abadi invited the German investors and businesses to participate in the rebuilding of Iraq.
In addition, they discussed the pressing need to revitalise the following industries: agriculture, housing, and construction and the reinstating of political stability in the various secured provinces.
Al-Abadi also discussed his plan to eliminate corruption and bureaucracy that in return wastes public funds. In addition to addressing governmental reform, the government also reviewed political and economic reform; supporting the private sector and revitalising the economy through micro-finance projects; restructuring of public companies, launching the industrial cities project
