Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji emphasized the importance of expanding oil and gas cooperation in a Wednesday meeting with Iraqi Minister of Electricity Adel Karim, and his entourage.
According to the Iranian Oil Ministry's press service, SHANA, Javad Owji hoped that favorable decisions will be taken during Adel Karim's stay in Iran.
During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the importance of expanding collaboration, particularly in the gas sector.
For his part, Iraq's Electricity Minister described Iran as a friendly country and is delighted to meet them for the second time. He deems them friends and is eager for the two countries to continue cooperation.
