Iraq's average oil export rate for January will be 3.3 million barrels per day (bpd), with the oil minister, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar, saying in a statement on Thursday that the country will stick to OPEC's steady increase of 400,000 bpd per month.

The developer of the Al-Khairat power plant was mandated by the Iraqi government to also provide smart meters for home and industrial clients.
The investment business, Harlow International, will prepare between 100,000 and 150,000 smart meters, as well as technical and engineering personnel training, according to a statement released by the Cabinet.
Last month, China's CITIC Construction announced that it had secured the contract, presumably in collaboration with Harlow.
