The Iraqi Ministry of Health have completed the rehabilitation and repair works for the Al-Tawheed medical clinic in Baiji, north of Baghdad.
The project which has been conducted in partnership with Siemens, is awaiting the supply of medical and power equipment, with all such supplies to be donated by the German energy and medical supplier. The equipment supplied by Siemens includes digital x-ray equipment, transformers, UPS, hematology analyzer as well as other laboratory and dental equipment,
Once the installations have been finalized the center will be opened with a capacity to treat up to 10,000 patients per year.
Commenting on the project - Musab Alkateeb, CEO of Siemens Iraq, said: “This health clinic is an important part of our commitment to the Iraqi people, and we are pleased to be working with the Ministry of Health and local leaders to return this important facility to the community...
