Air Arabia has announced the launch of a new non-stop flight to Sulaymaniyah in Northern Iraq, becoming the MENA low cost carriers fourth service to the country.
The new service will begin on November 6th 2018, with two weekly 3 hour flights scheduled on Tuesdays and Friday from the carriers hub in Sharjah to Sulaymaniyah. The flights are between Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) and Sulaymaniyah International Airport (ISU)
Tuesdays flight leaves Sharjah at 05.00 local time, arriving in Iraq at 06.55 local time, with the return flight leaving Sulaymaniyah at 07.35 to land in Sharjah at 11.05.
Fridays flight leaves Sharjah at 15.00 local time, arriving in Iraq at 16.55 local time, with the return flight leaving Sulaymaniyah at 17.35 to land in Sharjah at 21.05.
Adel Al Ali, Air Arabia's group CEO commented on the announcement "We are pleased to launch this new service to Sulaymaniyah, our fourth destination in Iraq, after Baghdad, Erbil and Najaf. We continuously seek ways to enhance airline connectivity with Iraq, given the growth in business ties between the two nations"
