IBS Software (IBS) has signed an agreement with China's Anton Oilfield Services to streamline the movement of people and material for the companies operations at Majnoon, Iraq.
iLogistics, IBS' cloud-based next-generation oil & gas logistics management solution, will be implemented to enable Anton to significantly improve airport and infield logistics efficiencies, enhance end-to-end operational visibility, optimize staff and contractor safety whilst adhering to regulatory compliances. Additional benefits of implementing the solution include; real time fuel tracking and reconciliation, optimized waste life-cycle management, improved camp bed utilizations and predictive analytics.
Anton signed a two-year contract to operate Iraq's massive Majnoon oilfield on behalf of Iraqi state-owned Basra Oil Company (BOC), which had taken over operations after Shell handed over the field in June 2018. Anton Oilfield Services was founded in China in 1999 and provides a complete range of products and services throughout the whole process of oil-gas field development. The company operates in the oil & gas markets of China, Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and North America.
IBS iLogistics software solution simplifies planning, scheduling, executing & reporting of men and material movement by automating repetitive tasks, using machine learning algorithms. iLogistics enables 100% regulatory compliance of arriving and departing personnel through effective tracking of passports, visas, work permits and multi-level travel authorizations. The deal with Anton increases the company's footprint in the Middle east region, which is strategically important in Oil and Gas logistics.
