The Minister of Oil announced an unprecedented export capacity of the southern ports of 3 million and 900 thousand barrels per day, the highest export capacity reached by Iraq from the southern ports.
Oil Minister Jabbar Ali Al-Luaibi said that Iraq's achievement of these levels of export energy confirms its ability to achieve better rates, appreciating the role of outstanding efforts of workers in the fields of the center and south and the Iraqi oil marketing company "Sumo", which resulted in achieving the objectives of the ministry to achieve an increase in oil export energy from South ports, after stopping from the northern port.
Al-Allaibi said that what is achieved confirms Iraq's export capacity to increase oil export capabilities and achieve the required targets, but this does not mean the survival of the export capacity ratios on these rates. He stressed the keenness of the government and the ministry to achieve additional revenues to provide the federal treasury and reduce the deficit and compensate part of the Losses incurred by Iraq as a result of the cessation of oil exports from the northern port through the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
