Father Dr. Pius Kasha the Pastor of St. Joseph`s Syriac Catholic Church praised the big efforts and special support of the minister of oil
Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussein Al-Luiebi and the committee of popular mobilization in the ministry of oil for their support to the displaced families in Baghdad & Ninawa.
Father Kasha said during the presentation of the church’s shield of appreciation to the minister of oil that, “this shield represents our gratitude and appreciation for your special role to support and take care of the displaced families in Baghdad & Ninawa, by supplying them with food, clothing and gas. In addition to checking the camps of the displaced people in Ninawa and the other governorates by the committee of popular mobilization to meet their needs”.
Father Kasha said also that these national humanitarian initiatives contributed so much to reduce the extreme suffering of the families in facing the difficulties and challenges.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said that the activities of the ministry are to maintain the necessary needs of the displaced families including “our Christian brothers”, which is a national duty that the committee of supporting the popular mobilization of the ministry of oil took its responsibility to face the difficult circumstances which are facing our dear country.
He said also that the cooperation between the Iraqi people, as well as their sacrifices and unity was the reason to achieve victory against the terrorist gangs of ISIS and defeating them away from our dear cities. The ministry of oil was in the lead of the concerned authorities to work hard in order to provide the necessary needs to the liberated areas.
Mr. Kareem Hattab Jaafar the deputy minister for up-streaming and the head of the committee of supporting the popular mobilization, and the spokesman of the ministry was present during the meeting between the minister & Father Kasha.
It is worthy to say that the committee of supporting the popular mobilization in the ministry of oil took the responsibility of supporting the families of the martyrs and the wounded people. as well as visiting the military operation locations and the camps of the displaced people to offer the necessary needs of food, clothing & gas. And the funds of the committee comes from the donations of the employees of the ministry of oil.
