Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi oil minister Jabbar al-Lu'aibi disclosed that ministerial committees are discussing with Kuwait and Iran on the joint oilfields and how to divide their production among them.
He called foreign companies to submit offers to develop these oilfields.
Iraq has two oilfields with Kuwait and about 12 oilfields with Iran.
Minister al-Lu'aibi pointed that the neighboring countries are developing these oilfield on their sides, while the Iraqi side kept idle due to lack of financial resources.
