The ministry of oil declared the total number of its final exports for the previous months January and February, which was issued by the oil marketing company (SOMO).
Mr. Assim Jihad the spokesman of the ministry said that the total exportation of Iraq for January 2017 was (102.939.163) barrels, and their outcome was (5.002.329.224) dollars. While the daily exportation average was (3.320.618) barrels. The exportation from middle & southern fields was (101.539.581) barrels. And the exportation from Kirkuk was (1.399.582) barrels.
Mr. Jihad said that the oil price for January was 48 dollars and 595 cents for the single barrel.
Mr. Jihad said also that the total exportation of Iraq for February 2017 was (91.558.868) barrels, and their outcome was (4.514.167.102) dollars. While the daily exportation average was (3.269.960) barrels "considering that February was 28 days in comparison to January which was 31 days". The exportation from the middle & southern fields was (90.730.734) barrels. He said also that the oil price for February was 49 dollars and 303 cents for the single barrel.
Mr. Jihad said that the oil quantities was shipped by multinational companies from the ports of Basra, Khor Al- Omaia and the SPM`s on the Arab Gulf and Ceyhan port.
