Reopening of Iraqi Airspace Will Save International Flights US$1 Billion of Fuel

The statement added that the opening of the Iraqi skies will save international flights about one billion dollars of fuel.

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Transport Ministry confirmed that Iraq will get additional revenues

 
for opening its air space before foreign flights.

The ministry expected that 1000 international planes will pass through the Iraqi skies daily, with expectation that the transit fees will be 375 dollars per plane.

The statement added that the opening of the Iraqi skies will save international flights about one billion dollars of fuel.
