Iraqi Kurdish oil exports to Iran temporarily stopped

He attributed this decision to the increase of the numbers of the tourists and the passage of the trucks will endanger the lives of the people and increasing the traffic jam in the area.

Kermanshah, Iran/ Iraq TradeLink: The Iranian authorities decided stopping the imports of any type
of  oil products through the Kurdish region, at Parweezkhan outlet,  on two stages.


 
He local administrator of Qasr Shirin , Kermanshah province, Nimatulla Naziwarda pointed that the stoppage will start its first stage today, (Thursday) for ten days, while the second stage will last for four days.

He attributed this decision to the increase of the numbers of the tourists and the passage of the trucks will endanger the lives of the people and increasing the traffic jam in the area.

Naziwarda added that about 500 oil-loaded trucks are passing daily from the Kurdish region to Iran to unload in the southern Iranian oil terminals.

The transport of other commodities between the two side will continue.


This Parweezkhan outlet is one of the main trade exchange centers with the Kurdish region, which its expected commodities transportation to reach 54% of Iranian exports to Iraq.
