Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar al-Li'aibi disclosed that Iraq reduced its oil production by 180.000 b/d from its national companies, with more attempts to minimize production by 30.000 b/d by the end of this month, January, 2017.
In press statement during his participation in the economic forum organized by Chatham House in London, he pointed that the decrease was made from a daily production that reached 4.75 million barrels.
On the other hand, he added that the Russian Lukoil expressed readiness to minimize its production by 20.000 b/d without compensations, as well as having other responses from the oil working companies in the country.
Iraqi share in the reduction of OPEC's resolution was set to be 210.000 b/d.
