U.S. Department of Defense Awards Nearly US$450 Million in Contracts That Are Related to Iraq

The first is a $17,080,930 firm-fixed-price, multi-year foreign military sales contract.The second project awarded a second contract for $378,137,998.

The United States Department of Defense has announced that Oshkosh Defense has been awarded two new contracts in Iraq. The first is a $17,080,930 firm-fixed-price, multi-year foreign military sales contract in Oman, Jordan, Iraq for 54 635NL trailers, spare parts, and manuals. The work will occur in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and is scheduled for completion on 30th April 2018. 
The second project awarded a second contract for $378,137,998 modification (P0009) to foreign military sales contract W56HZV-09-0159 for Cameroon, Iraq and Somalia for the procurement of 1,543 family of Medium Tactical vechils and three 78-gallon armor B-Kit corrosion prevention compound for vehicles to ship outside the U.S. The work will take place in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and will be completed on July 31, 2018.
