Mr. Hamid Y. Salih the deputy minister of oil for gas affairs announced for the exportation of the third shipment of the C5 condensed gas through the southern ports.
The exported gas quantity was (20,000) m3 which is (10,000) m3 higher than the second shipment which was (10,500) m3. He said also that the exportation & shipping process was done according to the followed procedures of the Iraqi Company (SOMO).
Mr. Assim Jihad the spokesman of the ministry said that the exportation of this type of gas is a guarantee to a new source of income to the federal budget “in addition to the crude oil”. He confirmed also that the plans of the ministry was successful by achieving the best investment of the associated gas and reduce its burning with a good average, and the ministry of oil is currently putting the final touches for the liquefied gas exportation.
It is worthy to mention that the ministry of oil exported the C5 in the 20th & the 30th of March as 10000 m3 for each time.
