Minerals Minister, Mohammed Al Daraji recently discussed plans in Egypt last week to build two industrial cities in Iraq. Abdul Aziz Saifuddin, chairman of the Cairo-based Arab Industrialisation Organisation was also quoted as saying
"We are seriously considering contributing to the construction of two industrial cities in Iraq.” This news will come soon after it was reported
Iraqi Industry Minister, currently on visit to Egypt, disclosed Iraqi intention to build two industrial cities with the help of Egyptian expertise.
Minister Mohammed al-Daraji, in a ministerial statement, expressed desire to "develop industrial cooperation with Egypt as a strategic ally".
It is expected that Minister al-Daraji will meet a number of Egyptian industrialists to discuss the possibility of building these two cities, the statement added.
