Minister of Territorial Administration Suggests Road from Iraq Iran Aremenia Under Discussion

Also, the parties dwelled upon possible cooperation in the field of seismic protection.

Armen Yeritsyan, currently the Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations said Wednesday, there were talks of constructing a road linking Iraq, Iran and Armenia.  

It was during a meeting with the ambassador from Iran to Armeina, Sayed Kazzem Sajjadi and his embassy advisor, Sopani Par that a Yerevan-Tehran link could be extremely useful.  

Additionally the Ambassador and Minister both discussed partnerships to organise services for search and rescue operations and disaster planning.
