Mudher Mohammed Saleh cited as geopolitical warfare caused the collapse of Iraq’s infrastructure which includes roads, schools, bridges, hospitals and residential buildings. "Nearly 130 bridges were destroyed during the conflict and the reconstruction process will take about 10 years.” A recent agreement with China was drafted in order to start immediate construction on bridges, roads, schools, power plants-- with an emphasis on education services which are heavily strained at the moment.
